All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) provides Scholarships for Girl Students Under (PRAGATI) scheme. The scholarship is only for one girl per family for pursuing Diploma and Undergraduate Degree level AICTE approved institution programmes / courses.
Scholarship Amount
This Scholarship is for 4000 Girl students and typically amounts to Rs.30, 000 or tuition fees as precise whichever is less and Rs.2, 000 per month as contingency allowance for 10 months .
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
Students who are already admitted to the technical programs/courses in AICTE approved Institutions to the first year of the academic year of the academic years are eligible.
Family income should be less than Rs. 6 lakhs per annum.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates should fill the application in a prescribed format available on AICTE portal. The completed filled application form in all respects to be submitted as attachments along with scanned attested copies of the certificates in PDF on Email rifd.aicte.india@gmail.com.
