Bilasipara College
Bilasipara College, Old name -“””N.N College””” Bilasipara in Dhubri district of Assam, was established in 1960 with the objective of imparting higher education to the young people of the rural and economically backward western Assam.
Bilasipara College received ad-hoc grant from the State Govt. in 1966 and it was placed under Deficit-Grant-in-Aid system of the Govt. in 1969 but it came under Provincialisation Act from 1st December,2005, Conforming to the National Pattern of education (10+2+3 system) this full fledged degree College imparts two year Higher Secondary (Arts) and six- semester Degree Courses of Study in both Arts and Science.
The college has successfully completed its 54 years of glorious existence and its Golden Jubilee was celebrated in 2010 with a three — day programme with pomp and gaeity and with the active participation of alumni, well wishers , students, faculty members, non — teaching staff and the public in general.
